General Overview:
The BioCapture®
650 system is a newly redesigned air sampler system
optimized for collection and concentration of biological
aerosol particles (5 -10 micron range). Originally
developed for the homeland defense market, the BioCapture®
650 has been engineered to virtually eliminate concerns of
sample carry-over and time-consuming maintenance. This
award-winning instrument design utilizes a fully-disposable
sampling component integrated into the single-use collection
cartridge. As a result, all wettable components are
now part of the disposable, eliminating the need for pre-
and post-incident cleaning. When used with the
Guardian Reader™
or Defender TSR, the integrated
dispenser delivers concentrated liquid sample directly onto
a biological test. Samples are collected into an integrated
transport container for central laboratory analysis.
One-button operation and a proprietary high-efficiency
collector places the BioCapture®
650 in a class by itself.
